Horse Project

Our Horse Project is the highlight of our program for our Wranglers.  That's why they are called Wranglers!  Each week our Wranglers head to the local stables where the owner's horses and donkeys are boarded for an experience of a lifetime!  They learn the concept of taking care of gentle, rescued equine by brushing, washing, walking and feeding them.

Our Work Study individuals are there every morning, cleaning stalls, feeding, walking and brushing down our horses, donkeys and minis, as well as participating in general help duties at the stables.  We are extremely proud of our horse project as it provides just a little bit more than your average day facility!
